Silent or Quiet Flight is a thriving and growing discipline of flying
for pilots who's interests cover most aspects of electric flight and
thermal gliding. Those interested in electric flight will find a whole
range of sports models and electric powered gliders being flown.

Please Note:
To fly at the Walsall Airfield (GMAC Club field) GMAC membership,
insurance and a local authority permit are required

Requirements are:
- Club Membership
- Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council Permit
- BMFA insurance
- Recognised 'A' certificate for solo flying
These are obtainable from the membership secretary on a club night
(last Wednesday of the month)
None members are not allowed to fly at the Airfield, except at open
events held at the airfield. |
