Y es the rain Gods of June were with us again this year but they did
not dampen the spirits of the Greenacres crew. Although they dried their
outside around Pete's Barbie and re-dampened their insides with a few sherberts. But as last year the weather redeemed its self on Sunday with
bright sunshine and great assortment of planes.
We had 35 pilots and near enough 100 or so planes ranging from large
scale war birds and fun models (Snoopy made an appearance). We had a
very good day with only a few mishaps and crashes. Mick's unusual Tri
motor Italian world war 2 plane rolled in on take off, we hope to see
that make an early reappearance.
Our crash of the day was a Ultimate Bi-plane which went into failsafe
mode but all our pilots enjoyed the day and most went home supporting a
lobster look especially our Sym (pink was never his best colour). We
look forward to seeing everyone at the next event.
