Most members will be aware that the club rule appertaining to the maximum I.C. engine size has changed. What hasn't changed however is the maximum noise level permitted of 82 dB at 7 metres.  I  believe it is fare to say there has been "mission creep" on the noise level of a few models this year. Spot checks will be carried out in future, therefore I strongly recommend that members who suspect the validity of their equipment (old or new)s get it checked by the club's noise metre and if necessary source a better muffler.

YES, THANKS TO BRIAN SHUCK FOR ORGANIZING A GROUP OF 10 MEMBERS FROM GMAC TO AN EVENING OF FULL SIZE GLIDER FLYING. IT WAS SUPERB AND AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED.
            I HOPE BRIAN WILL CONSIDER MAKING THIS AN ANNUAL EVENT AS I KNOW MY NAME AND NINE OTHERS WILL HAVE THEIRS ON THE LIST FIRST.
