Chris & Danny,
I've converted the Greenacres logo into a "favicon".
A favicon is the little icon you get on the top tab of a website or the bookmark icon.
Currently the Greenacres website shows this:
-
If you upload this file to the right place on the website design, you'll get a nice little green Greenacres logo.
There are instructions of how to use in the ReadMe.txt file...

Thanks Jim
When I did the website in HTML it did always have a favicon.
For the last couple of years though, I've been using a content management system, so can't just pop the lines into the HTML.
They look good though, ta. I'll do some research as to how I use them in Joomla. (Just not sure when).

There you go Jim
Adding the file to the server root seesm to be showing it on most modern browsers. ;D
I'm sure that will enhance everyones life now ;)
-
Chris,
Excellent! Every little helps....
BTW, just noticed this on the forum stats:
Most Online Today: 6. Most Online Ever: 14 (10/06/2014, 11:56:01 AM)
Cheers!

If we want to go the whole hog, Jim, we should have a favicon with a clear background, not a white one ;)
-
Chris,
Good point, so here is one!
-
Well I've replaced the icon, can't see any difference, yet. It may take some time to filter through though.
-
Chris,
Yes, I found I had to restart Firefox and clear the browser cache to force the favicon to reload.

A quick Shif+F5 should update it Jim.
PS - I've just switched to to the 3D badge (with a clear background) to match the website logo.

Very nice, Chris....
