Chris / Danny,
I've knocked up a few help documents to assist members.
These are only draft documents really, awaiting your comments / feedback.
Please review...?
Thanks!

These are great Jim, just the ticket.
I think word documents are a great idea if anyone wants to print one off.
I'm just wondering if they can be done as normal forum posts as well? So folk could read them direct, to save them downloading, OR in case they don't have "office" to read them with?
For anyone reading this and needing the help, click on any of Jim's three documents attached above to download it to your computer. Once that's done, it depends on your computer set up as to how you open them to read.
Oh, Jim, how about one on registering for the forum?
(Currently all guests can read everything here)
Well done though and thanks for the help.
Cheers

Looks good Jim, I guess you could print a few and bring them along to handout at clubnight?
As Chris says another showing the registration process might be good too?
Well done :)

Chris & Danny,
Here's a crib for registering with the forum:
-
Also, here's some PDF versions of the same documents:
-
Chris & Danny,
I will print a selection of these out and distribute on clubnight.
You will find that there's a new user called "test_user" that I had to create to document the registration process. Please delete...
Thanks for your support on this!
Cheers!

Hi Jim, well done that's great. Can I suggest one more area to look at? Nottifications?
It would be nice to be able to explain how the user can get alerts as to when somebody has replied to one of the threads they have created or posted on. It is also nice to be able to just watch a thread that maybe you haven't commented on?
Just a thought, it all looks great so far well done.
Cheers

Danny,
Here is a help document that explains notification options.
You should check it over for me as I'm not 100% certain what some options mean!
Also, you need to delete the "test_user" user from the members list....
