Club night - Mar2008 Design and Build
March 26th 2008 and a good number of intrepid designers
descend on Rushall Labour club to compete for the inaugural GMAC indoor
design and build title.
It all started very light hearted, but as the evening wore on it was
clear that we have some quite competitive members.
By the end of the night it was also clear that the art of aeromodelling
sits squarely with a "certain" age group.
Most of us might be pretty good with ARTF's, but for knowledge of how to
make a simple shape that flies properly, is trimmable and can be made to
work as designed without control inputs, lies firmly within our senior
member section, hats off to them. Congratulations go to Mike Elliott.
