We hold a special joining night in December - this year on Wed the 10th.

NOTE: Everything below is from Dec 2007 and is subject to change this year (2008).

Please note that if you do not join on that night, your membership and insurance expires on 31st Dec. The next opportunity to join will be at the end of Jan. This would mean no flying in January. Mind you if Jan 2007 is anything to go by, there wont be much flying anyway. Lets hope we get better weather.

NOTE: No memberships will be accepted through or by post, only at club evenings.

We recommend you bring your existing permit and insurance certificate. There are five forms available –

• 1^st is your Payment details, please indicate what channels you use as we will be providing a chart soon of the channels used by members.
• 2^nd is your Acknowledgement of club rules,
• 3^rd is Your Acknowledgement of WMBC Permit for WMBC,
• 4^th is a sheet to keep with you which highlights some of the operating safety instructions when using the field. When you sign the ‘Acknowledgement of Club Rules’ you are agreeing to abide by the Club, Council and BMFA rules and that you have received this form.   

During membership you must bring fully completed forms 1, 2, and 3.

All members need to bring their BMFA insurance if they have joined elsewhere or official proof that BMFA insurance has been obtained, otherwise we will NOT be able to issue a permit. The easiest route is to acquire your BMFA insurance through us. If you have BMFA credit notes they need to be produced on purchase as they cannot be used retrospectively.
Please note Flyers that cannot provide a current permit or insurance evidence when requested on the field will be asked to cease flying immediately. If they have been lost please advise a committee member prior to a club night for reissue at the next club night.
